Hopkinton Parks & Recreation is pleased to partner with Teachers Driving Academy to offer students a great program, at a great price, with the added convenience of taking classes right at school!



Choose a session that best fits your schedule and register early. Classes are held at Hopkinton High School, unless notified otherwise. Please check back for exact location, we are currently confirming classroom availability.

Road Lessons & Make up classes must be coordinated directly with TDA.  For convenience, you can make up classes at any location as long as it is the exact class module that you missed.  There is always space available. Walk-ins always welcome!  We never turn away students!!

Class Information
  • $99.00 for 30 hours of classroom instruction
  • Students must be 15 years, 9 months per Mass RMV rules at the time class begins
  • No hidden fees & No charge for the required parent class
  • Book driving lessons "online" @ TDA's website, www.teachersdrivingacademy.com
  • Please note that in some sessions, the total number of hours exceeds 30. This is a result of a 1/2 hour break built into the schedule.
  • Students may not leave the building and are asked to bring snacks and drinks from home.
  • At least one parent/guardian must attend the Parent Class. If you cannot attend during the session the student is registered for, you can attend during another session. If you have already attended a parent class since September 2007 they count for 5 years. Please let us know when you drop off your child at first class.
  • If a student misses a class they must make-up the same class they missed. Example: if the student missed class #2, they must make up that same class #2 at any of TDA's location. You do not have to book make-up classes, you can walk-in and sign the books for oure records.
  • We cannot process paperwork until all requirements are fulfilled. 30 hours of classroom, 2 hour parent class, 12 hours of driving and 6 hours of observation. Also must be paid in full.
  • Finish all requirements 21 days before road-test.

Schedules/Cancellation & make up policy
  • All Classroom Schedules are posted on this site. Find it by clicking on Date/Time for your preferred session.
  • If Hopkinton High School is closed or released early due to inclement weather; Drivers Education class will be cancelled for that day/evening. Your TDA instructor will notify you of a make up class date.
