Hopkinton Babe Ruth's Goal is to provide teenagers of all ability levels the opportunity to play organized baseball. Everyone is welcome to play in a fun, competitive, and educational environment.

Games held twice per week, Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, or Thursdays, 6:00-8:00pm

The Early Spring Season
The Early Spring Season lasts about a month and is open to all players aged 13-16 It is an ideal opportunity for players moving up from Little League that have never played on the "Big Diamond" before, to become oriented to the bigger field. Players who have aged out of Hopkinton Little League are eligible to play in Hopkinton Babe Ruth even if their 13th birthday comes after the baseball season. We offer instruction from our coaches to introduce young players to the new rules and skills that are required on the bigger field. The key areas of instruction include: leading and base running, pitching from the stretch, and picking off runners. The overall atmosphere is fun and relaxed where coaches and players alike "get the rust out". Players of all ability levels are welcome.

The Late Spring Season
The Late Spring Season maintains the same fun, competitive atmosphere and opportunities for instruction as the Early Spring Season, but allows players who may have had other spring commitments to join Babe Ruth. It usually begins about the time when school baseball is winding down and ends just before the school summer vacation. Depending on the number of players joining the Late Spring Season, we add new teams or rebalance the Early Spring Season teams. Players are welcome to sign up for both seasons and play all 12 games from late April to early June.

Senior Babe Ruth
If you are aged sixteen to nineteen years old, and would like to play Varsity High School, American Legion or college baseball some day, this is the team for you. This team plays a competitive schedule, requires players to try out, make a summer commitment, and involves some travel. This program is ideal for high school players that want to face good competition in a very organized, competitive environment. Please note, Senior Babe Ruth will occur between June 1-July 17th. Exact dates TBD.

Refund Policy
If you withdraw from a program at anytime prior to two weeks before the program start date, you will receive an account credit good towards other Parks and Recreation programs. Account credits do not expire. Account credit will not be issued if the cancellation takes places within two weeks of the program start date. Cancellations due to a medical emergency will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund at anytime with proper medical documentation. If a program is cancelled by Parks and Recreation, you will have the option to receive an account credit or a refund for that program.
