NESP
Holidays are a stressful time of the year and we can all use a little help to brush up on our etiquette. A wise professional knows the importance of strong dining skills. Dining, if not done well, could be harmful to your reputation. The way you navigate your way through a meal can influence an interview, a date or a holiday event. Present your preteen or teen with the opportunity to feel self-reliant and confident in any dining and social situation by taking interactive lessons taught by a certified etiquette consultant. Our workshop is designed to teach each student how to conduct themselves on the dining table in a restaurant, at home and when meeting new people. Learning these skills will help them become comfortable and polished be it at the prom, a holiday party or any social event.

Topics Include:
Approaching The Table
Seating
Table Space
The Napkin
Understanding Place Setting
The Bread & Butter Plate
Appropriate Table Conversation
The Soup Course
Proper Use Of Silverware
American And The Continental Styles of Dining
Passing Food At The Table
What To Do With Unwanted Food
Other Table Manners & Much More

Some food samples will be served during class so that the children can practice what they learn. Dietary restrictions can be accommodated. Please inform us of any food allergies when signing up.
