Residents who wish to park their boat trailer after using the boat launch at Sandy Beach must purchase a permit. The cost is $50.00. Seniors, 65+ my request a permit for free.

Non-residents who wish to park their boat trailer after using the boat launch at Sandy Beach must purchase a permit. The cost is $200.00.

Due to COIVD 19 restrictions, our office is closed to the public. Please pay for your permit online at Hopkintonrec.org > Programs > Boat Launch Permit for Sandy Beach on Lake Masepenock. Print the receipt and mail it along with a copy of the trailer registration and your license as well as a self addressed stamped envelope. You are also welcome to send a check, made out to Hopkinton Parks and Recreation, with a copy of the trailer registration and license along with the self addressed stamped envelope.

If you are a 65+ resident, simply mail a copy of the trailer registration and license along with the self addressed stamped envelope. 65+ non-residents are required to purchase a sticker for $200.00

We will mail the permit to you. Please affix the sticker to the back of the trailer. The permit is good for one season.

Please note that there are 4 trailer parking spots only and there is no street parking. Any vehicle without a permit or parking outside the allotted spots will be ticketed by the Hopkinton Police Department.

Please remember to thoroughly clean your boat and trailer before and after entering the lake. It’s the law!
